Official Rules

No Purchase Necessary. Entry is free. No payment of any kind is required to play, win, or claim a prize.

 

Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C. who are 18 years or older at time of entry. PickMySquare staff and their immediate family members are not eligible. Void where prohibited.


Entry Period: The board opens on April 25, 2026 and closes once 100 squares have been claimed or at tip-off of Game 1 of the 2026 NBA Finals (Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 8:30 PM ET on ABC), whichever comes first.


How to Enter: Visit the board link at pickmysquare.com, sign in or create a free account, and claim one square. Limit one square per person. Once all 100 squares are filled, the numbers 0 through 9 are randomly assigned to each axis of the grid.


Winner Determination: Prizes are awarded based on the holder of the square matching the last digit of each team's score at the end of the following segments of Game 1 of the 2026 NBA Finals:

 - End of Q1: $25 cash

 - End of Q2 (halftime): $25 cash

 - End of Q3: $25 cash

 - Final score, including any overtime: $100 Fanatics gift card


Final scores are determined by the official NBA box score.


Total Prize Pool: $175 ($75 in cash plus a $100 Fanatics gift card).


Notification and Payment: Winners will be notified by email within 72 hours of game conclusion. Cash prizes are sent via Venmo. If a winner does not use Venmo, an alternate electronic payout method will be arranged. The Fanatics gift card is delivered electronically. Prizes unclaimed within 30 days of notification are forfeited.


Taxes: Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes. The total prize pool is below the $600 IRS reporting threshold, so no 1099-MISC will be issued.


Disputes: All decisions of PickMySquare regarding entry validity, scoring, and winner determination are final and binding. PickMySquare reserves the right to modify or cancel this promotion if it cannot run as planned for any reason.
